I belive mongo is where you push with your front foot instead of your back foot.

switched is riding the opposite dicrection you normally ride.

goofy is your left foot forward I think not sure I always get goofy and regular mixed up.

if I am wrong somone should correct me because I probably am. : P
    Just flow..

:P Thanks guys, but I have one more question. I wanted to know like how you know what your normal direction is. Cause when I skate I like just get the board and stand on it . . . like by the direction did you mean the direction of the board (like nose first or tail first) or something else?

Your normal direction is usually the opposite foot than your dominant hand. Like if your right handed you usually skate with your left foot forward. Switch is when you skate with your opposite foot forward like if you ride with your left foot forward, switch is riding with you right foot forward. I believe that when you ride your board backwards but with your normal foot forward that is fakie right? Man, this is confusing.

uhh... i think this is right...

if youre left handed, you probably ride goofy; right handed you probably ride regular.

... oh yeah... and the top end on my really crappy diagram thing is the front of the board, and the bottom is the back of the board...

Goofy and switch would be regular.

Regular: When you skate with your left foot forward

Goofy: When you skate with your right foor forward

Switch: When you are skating with your week foot forward (If you're normally regular and you're standing on your board with your right foot forwad or if you're goofy and you put your left foot forward)

Mongo: When you use your back foot to push

    Fakie: When you ride backwards

I have a question though, what's double mongo?

Mongo is using your front foot to push. Fakie is riding what is normally your back foot in front and on the tail so that both you and the board are backwards. Riding switch is the same thing only your feet are backwards like you are riding fakie, and the board is still going nose first.

Alright then I'll try and break this down because it is hard to explain with out a picture.

Regular stance= left foot in front and right foot in back

Goofy stance=right foot in front and left foot in back

Switch stance=riding the opposite way of the stance that you normally ride
If you ride goofy then regular would be switch for you. If you ride regular then goofy would be switch for you.

Fakie stance=stand how you normally stand but the board is rolling backwards.

Pushing mongo is pushing with your front foot. I find it to be less stable and it takes longer to get your feet back in place when you are done pushing.
