How to fast plant?

Sk8dragon showed us some cool pics of his o/s Vision deck in A Vision Re-Issue that rocks. One of the photos featured a kick a$$ foot plant trick called fast plant. There is some discussion about it on Boneless One Forum, too.

I've tried the trick couple of times now but can't get it at all. Popping the board and jumping with back foot at the same time feels so awkward. I can't get any pop in it. I can ollie and launch fs bonelesses and bean plants pretty well but never practiced any back foot plants. Any tips Dragon or someone else?

I'm having a hard time getting them frontside. I can do them to fakie in ditches and on banks and stuff and rolling straight. Frontside I just cant get my ass around.

I meant "just" popping straight over some object without changing direction. I guess sk8dragon is also pulling straight fast plants in his photos. But hey thanks for the idea Frank! I've to try that on bank and land it to fakie.
