Default A good longboard to learn trick? NEED HELP

Hi guys,

I am pretty new at longboarding, and I want to do ALL of the loaded challenge starting for Series 1 next week. (that's one of my summer projects: I will be longboarding the whole 3 months and learn tricks)

I have a loaded Dervish right now, but I don't want it use it to practice tricks. (I will use do the tricks on my dervish when I master them)

I want to get a cheap longboard that I still can do tricks pretty comfortably with it?
Any recommendation?

I second KS.

But depending on the trick sometimes a standard street deck can help you when your starting out.

The KS isn't gonna be very different. If you want something easy to learn on buy something with a decent sized nose and tail, not overly flexy. Eastbilt 59'' is a long flat dancer and it's gonna be really easy to learn most of the tricks from challenge 1. Challenge 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be babycakes on it. Challenge 2 is gonna mess up any board, try that on a street deck. Challenge 6, the dervish is perfect for it.

eastbilt.com

it's like $40 for the deck...probably same weight as OSD...it's not as "good" but you can thrash it and not worry about it

s9 and gravity make big dancers for like $70 and you can get those on skatesonhaight.com

Get a gravity Hyper-carve

Easy to dance and do tricks on, and it's very very cheap so you won't feel bad if you mess it up.

I see..hmm...I want to buy Gravity Hypercarve now!

I just went to Daddiesboardshop.com, and it cost $68.5 with FREE shipping.
Before I order it, any other recommendation?
