    Default first pendulum

I pulled off my first pendulum ever today,
    it felt good,
I have been sliding for a while,
    cornering and 180'z
but this is the first time I fully came back around,

what did it for me you may ask?
    well you didn't ask..

    however I will still say,
it was speed and waiting, allowing the board to transition normally and just patience and paying attention to how my legs were pusing on the rails...

    yea man, I am happy

thanks for all the silverfish advice and the NBS for sure...

Your Coleman (one handed) pendulum is what I liked. I can pendulum front or backside but my technique requires that I put both hands on the ground and "pedal" my legs to bring the board back to forward position. Next time we go out I'm going to study your method.

I view the pendulum slide as primarily a means of bleeding off speed while maintaining at least some forward momentum. So, I try not to prolong the actual slide for too long because I don't want to come all the way to a stop. One of my favorite videos is called real_downhill.rm, a Supaflex video filmed in France. See the pendulums done there towards the end of the video? They are fast and take up very little lateral space. That's what I'd like to do.

By the end of the day yesterday, you were pulling that sh1t off at will. Have you mastered it? Or were you just showing off for the Lady Ninja?

Yea I was thinking about that as I was whipping my slides, I think it just takes me a while to get warmed up or maybe I do work better under pressure I do need to be real comfortable with the hill I am working with when I am trying new ****, and I think I finally got used to the grade on del mar yesterday, I think tonight I am going to work on those stand ups, and maybe work out the formula to the 360...

yea that dude was soooo bum fights, nothing a 11 ply landy to the dome won't take care of though...

yea man I am looking foreward to the next ninja session
