alrite so ive been tryin to mostly nose manual and sometimes manual but for the nose manual i seem to always balance in a nose manual for like 1 sec 2 sec max then i fall off the board forward.
does anyone have any tips to nose manual/manual on a (loaded pintail) longboard?
btw what would the correct way of feet positioning on the manuals?
and for the back foot, its usually just at 90 or a little torwards the nose.
i snowboard with a 23.5 inch stance (and i'm only 5' so i like my stance wider than normal. it really depends on what you're comfortable with.
start shoulder width apart and move around to find you're sweet spot
another tip is to look 3-4 feet infront of you, in the direction your going, DO NOT LOOK DOWN AT YOUR BOARD. i looked down when i first started them and only started locking in when i stopped looking down.

ahhh ty, i look down at my board when i nose manual and ill see how it goes when i dont
edit: just tried 45 degrees away from nose and seemed awkward to me, but what degree my front foot is usually like at a 75-90 degrees outward from nose
edit: edit: nvm now my angles are changing, ill see which ones suits me the best tomorrow when my board is actually moving lol

dude just try different positions and use the one most comfortable for YOU. Nose manual is just balance, you get balance through practise. Just keep on trying and it will come
I've been learning nose manuals on the same board (loaded pintail),
After nose manuals on other boards I found that the pintail is THE hardest to do them on! If you're just learning and can hold a manual for 3-4 seconds you're doing REALLY well! 3-4 seconds on the pintail translates to, well, quite abit longer on other boards i've found.
Try nose manualing on some other boards, it will be easier and will boosts your confidence!
I couldn't hold a nose manual on my pintail for any longer than 4 seconds, then i stepped on a mates kracked skulls and (first go) cleared 5 parking spaces.
I've found focusing on the road just infront of myt front foots toes helps my balance.
Keep practising, and just chillout if you get frusterated
Something that is helping me while I try to lock in my nose manuals is tipping your back foot. It helped me put more of my weight on my front foot while balancing better. Here's an example. Adam just makes it look so easy...
If you don't like the feel, don't do it. What feels good to you is what matters. Good luck!
