Nelsonn is on the right road.
Default foot placement on regular manuals.

A while back I got a 46" kracked skulls, and I've been trying various tricks on it. One of the first things I tried was a regular manual because on a pintail I've landed some pretty long ones. However, with no tail I soon found out that if you go too far back you run the risk of dragging the back foot on the ground and doing the splits. Now I've kind of given up on manuals and have focused on nose manuals because they feel a little safer. For a nose manual I have my front at a 90 degree angle to the front axel and my back foot parallel with the axels. What's a good way to set up the feet for a regular manual on a board with no tail? I want to have good leverage, but I want to make sure my foot doesn't easily slip off the back.
