    what the first and easiest trick I should learn first? Is there a trick that all other trick are based on?

    toeside slides. Stick you trailing hand down and snap that board around. w00t. Someday it'll turn into a pendulum slide or a 360 indeed.

    Carving and sliding are the easiest and most important on a longboard. You can search here or on the web for instructions for them two tricks.

    sometimes it is easier to practice on carpet on grass, where the board wont shoot out from under you if you land funny.... it hurts when it does... then when you get better at it try it moving at slow speeds. and then if you are a freak try it at 60km/h
    ....an idea so great, that the very thought of it would make my head explode...

    this guy shows you how to do the basic boardwalking I guess it's called skurf tricks, and some other styles that are more advanced, like neo-classical.

    ummm? kick turns. not much of a trick but real handy. 360's are always fun and stylish.
    Boneless. Now that's a great basic trick. Just pick up your board and jump back on. A rather simplified deffinitiion I know.
