I wonder how much of that shrapnel caused a problem with the skaters. You can see that 2 or 3 skaters bailed after the explosions went off. Kinda nuts.

The actual video is sick. This intro is just mediocre skating with pyrotechnics

They use foam. And then I think they add a little special effects to touch it up, but yeah, the explosions are pretty dangerous too. I think they use safety goggles and just edit them out.
