Default Filming

I been wanting to get into filming,
taking a filming class right now,

I don't have that much to spend,
should I get a used vx1000?
or a HV20 ?

I wonder what Adam Colton use....

That skateperception website is a good resource (it was down for a few days recently but is back up now). I used their beginner recommendations and ended up getting a used canon optura 20 and the Kenko Sgw 043 fisheye lens. I thought about spending the money to go straight to the sony vx1000 or the canon gl2, but decided i'd just practice with the cheaper canon for a while.
