are demon fisheye lens good, im thinking about buying one for my video camera and was wondering if it was worth $100
heres the link DEMON FISHEYE LENS.COM
lol did u see the sample pics they need to learn how to use a camera first of all lol not verry interesting shots if u ask me bad advertisement if u ask me
so that would be a no, because i dont have an insanely nice camera either, if you guys have any other suggestions for fisheyes that are relatively reasonable priced could you tell me. it mainly be my making skiing and skating vids with my friends, and i only have a sony handycam dcr-dvd108 so its not real awesome.
dang, i like the fisheye effect but if the cheapest decent one is $400, then im going to wait until i am quite a bit better at videoing. what would you guys think of just a wide angle just so i can get the whole shot, think it is worth it, here is one i am looking at, it seems cheap but im not really sure, you have to remember im still not insane, so my gear wont be. and thanks for the replies.
With video camera lenses, fisheyes in particular, you really do not need to spend a huge chunk of change to pick one up that will do the job. Prices go up as the quality of the glass goes up. The lens you are looking at looks like it will be fine, and a plus side is, if something happens to it, you are not having to replace a six hundred dollar lens, and if you dont like the way it works, you could easily turn around and sell it, or return it. I would say go for it.

Vulgar: It makes financial sense to get a fisheye if you actually film for skate videos on a regular basis and know when to use it. In this situation s/he's just going to have one normal lens and one super-specialty lens that s/he will want to use all the time. Just get a normal wide angle and skip the crazy distorted optics.
disclaimer: i've never been a fan of fisheye death-lenses anyway.

seriously, how do kenkos rate, every place ive checked loved them, and i can get a fisheye and a wideangle from a store i found for the same price as the sony wide angle.
here is the wide angle, checked some reviews and the people liked it alot, and only $15 Kenko SGW-05 37mm 0.5x Wide Angle Converter Lens - $14.95
and here is the fisheye, once again people loved it and it is only $25, Kenko SGW-043 37mm 0.43x Wide-Angle Fisheye Lens - $24.95
i think i might just by both at the same time if no one has any reasons not to. cause the look pretty sweet and dirt cheap if they suck or break.
once again thanks for all the help you are giving me.
ok so i dont know much about thease lences but what is diffent with a wide lence and a fisheye i know the fisheye does the hole zoomin and out on the corners so u can see everything but what does the wide angle do well i know it does wide angles but can i have a sample of what id does??
the sony or the kenko, and why shouldnt i spend the little bit of money to get both if it still only costs the same as the sony for the wide and fisheye kenko.

Because, believe it or not, you get what you pay for.

In the case of glass this is really true...cheap lenses distort color even more than the image. If you can afford to pay more than do so. You will likely find that you can use a camera for much longer than it's at the top of the technological heap if you have better than average lenses. I still use a 4 year old Nikon D70 daily because I spent the money on quality lenses, my best friend has had to upgrade twice because he likes to use high MP cameras but only buys cheap a$$ lenses (and you don't wanna know the number of times I have had to fix/rebuild one of his crap lenses)
