This is a picture of me drifting the hairpin at the bottom of Fairfax-Bolinas Rd. It was during the outlaw race there on 5-24-08. I am riding on Randal 180 Trucks (Baseplates and Hangers) with bushings cut from Orange 86a Big-Zigs and flat washers.
I should be on the Randal box because I originally bought Randal trucks as a cheap downhill truck (compared to the expensive CNC'd trucks) and was planning on replacing them with more expensive trucks. As of now, I have no plans to buy any CNC'd trucks because I have grown so used to the feel of these Randal 180's. They really showed me that one doesn't need super expensive gear to be a skilled longboarder. I think this message needs to be passed along to all of my fellow longboarders because far too many of us rely on high tech and expensive gear when we only really need some classic Randal trucks.
The picture is downsized and of lesser quality since I uploaded it through photobucket. (Photobucket makes them a smaller file size when uploaded) The one I email will be sent as an attachment, so it will be of higher quality.

^^^ i dont think he should win cause he doesnt have a helmet on. that would send a bad message to all kids recieving their new randal trucks. safety first
I've received a few emails in the last week saying the same thing, and one of them pointed out that this contest isn't even listed on the Randal.com website. (my bad) In the fairness of opening up the contest to a wider audience, Randal Trucks is going to extend the contest until July 4th, to celebrate our Made in America pride. This should give some skaters a better chance of getting that 'magic' shot.
To be fair to those that submitted their entries by the first deadline, the best shot from the Fish before May31st will win a big package of Randal product also!
The details of the contest are now posted on Randal.com
Thanks to all of those that have participated, and keep them shots coming.... We've also lifted the one entry per person restriction!
well in the case that the one entry ban was lifted...
i'll throw in another of my personal favorite
this is once again dungbeetle canyon with the stoked crew.
the photographer, David's father, was kind enough to shoot us many photos and this turned out to be amazing.
My opinion, the reason why this should go on the randal box is because it's got a picture of a guy doing a turn with jeans that are ripped at the ass. not to mention, it's also a nice picture. also, you must admit that the spraypaint on both the board and the helmet (especially the helmet) is kinda weird. i like weird. so do kids. and weird people. which are DH skaters. but we like weird people. DH is weird. weird is weird.
okay yeah i was bored. i just hope this picture of my beautiful buttocks get shown on every shipment so that my butt will be famous throughout the world

No really just use a cool shot of a rodgers Bros. deck showing off your Comp-lls... Now that would be sexy! Slogan... When lives, podiums and sponsors are at stake... Leave nothing to chance... Randal Trucks...

Here I'm skating at my local cemetary and it was the first sunny day so I was stoked to skate with the rest of my friends after long days of gray clouds and pouring rain.Although I have bear's in this photo I feel ever since I've tried the new randals I can't look back. I love the cleaner casting and the overal performance.
