Photoshop art

If you got pictures you made in photoshop post em' i wanna see how far I've come in relation to other people. Also does anyone know how to make an array in elements6?

this one of my dog is not quite done.

a desert over kitties over a nuke over a sunset with tweaked hues and saturation.

my first picture. a kitty on top of flowers on top of an aztec blanket on top of tv static.

I really dont think photoshop is art, changing colours and blurring things and all......

taking ordinary things and making them beautiful is art. expressing yourself is art. photoshop is just a medium. no different than say acrylic or pastel . if you create , you enjoy it, and it speaks to you then it's art.

A quick one thrown together in like 5 minutes just for lolz.

perhaps this fits your definition of art more "stuff", I use a Wacom tablet, and I'm 16, I hope to one day be a concept artist or something along that line
here's a character from a game I used to play (Guild Wars)

all done in photoshop, no tracing, references were used, but changes were made8)

Honestly I like the original photo better. Would have made a sick black and white photo....I'd so love to go to China!!

Damn, so much hate. I think that photoshop can absolutely be art. There are photographers that use photoshop to touch up/finish/edit some of the pictures that I guarantee you would claim to be "art." I understand how one might be able to say "nah, photoshop isn't art," but I'm willing to bet you haven't seen some of the work done by some of the people who are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (sorry All3N and Braden343, not baggin' on you, but if you're really into photoshop, you know what I mean) with some of the things that they can do.

AII3N, Braden343 keep up the work guys, don't let some hate stop ya.

AII3N, I would say to also keep your eye on Photography too if you don't already, the two go well together, and you seem to have some very well set-up pictures (I don't know a super lot about photography, but as a studio art guy, I like to think I have a decent grasp on color and frame).

Braden343, that second picture is definitely very good, the first one too, but the second is way better. Well done

My point is that messing with photos in Photoshop doesn`t make it art by any stretch.

To AII3N, have fun doing what you do, but be careful with the use of the word art, art is serious stuff. Your photo`s are way better without that stuff you are doing to them anyway...
