first i would move to a place with bigger hills.
then i would organize the biggest event weve ever seen, bigger than maryhill and the X-Games put together. and then put downhill back in the X-Games, then with the left over money buy some boards and precisions

dude that was my idea!
lets team up and buy $500 million (minus cost of your precisions/decks) worth of mountain range and pave it for the gnarliest of the gnar longboarding extravaganzas!

Re: what would you do with 250 million dollars...open to everyone
I mean with crazy money like that I dream of setting up a "garage" for skaters only, with variable courses and styles of runs so you can go down a bunch of different ways and difficulties, practice and such etc.
But for the most part it'd kind a be nice just to own a shop. Maybe a good building in some downtown area, set up a place to live on the tops floors and have a nice shop. Hell a warehouse would be an amazing option for that, it'd give room for people to *gasp* TRY A BOARD.
I dunno, I probably wouldn't spend much of it on board stuff. Land/a home would be priority. I don't even know where I'd want it though, so I'd probably have to hold on to it for a while....

i love the demo board idea, i've been to one shop that has decks set up to try and it's really helpful when picking out a deck or an entire setup.

Re: what would you do with 250 million dollars...open to everyone
Id make a big budget movie about longboarding starring Tom Cruise, and accidently have a prop malfunction at the end which finishes that dork.
The film will be a huge hit and Id make another 500m. With that money I would buy a shitload of skateboards for underprivileged kids.
See? Tom Cruise could be useful for something after all.

Val Kilmer hates him too, ....In fact, he is the mastermind behind this whole idea.
He plays K-Rimes, and shoots Tom with a gun that is supposed to be loaded with blanks.

i'd use the money to buy weapons, ammunition, and bodies to invade Chile and take over the country. once the government is overthrown and the country is mine, Chile becomes the Republic of Stokia. No passports needed at the airport, just your quiver and bring some food/drink.

Re: what would you do with 250 million dollars...open to everyone
set up a huge wefunk production facility, enticing composite workers away from F1 and then sell wefunks for ridiculously little money just because.
also buying a nice mountain in switzerland with a comfy chairlift for the way back up.
wefunk® - spacetime bending machines
composite design and lobotomy services

Re: what would you do with 250 million dollars...open to everyone
i would buy some kind of sustainable skate related business, that would provide for a comfortable lifestyle, or supplement my current income/lifestyle. as long as i made enought to pay my parents, and inlaws houses, my house, kids to college and some future dough for them id be good. most of the rest would go to building concrete skateparks all over the country.
im sure 250 million would go way faster than one would expect. probably couldnt even buy one of the the major magazines for that much.
oh yeah, almost forgot. a right hand kidney, and a 1/2 pipe in the back yard.
my backpack has jets

Fly around in a jet pack, naked, duh.
Edit: Okay, um skate related- I would buy a serious amount of land in the Tennessee mountains and build the most wicked park ever, complete with a downhill IGSA race course open year round to anyone willing to sign the waiver.
