Montreal Sessions > 80% of the videos

The australian one was funny.
Gravity was sick as always.
The Loco express was pretty cool but not really new or interesting. Just more of the same

Stoked the DVD is out but bummed the SCS - SoCalSkateShop.com is whacked out on the DVD. The audio was not edited correctly by the editor putting the compiled dvd together and is not in sync at all.. I will post up the correct version here when I get a chance..

Evolutions was fine back when companies couldn't immediately put every new video of theirs on Youtube or Vimeo in good quality (and that was a pretty short period indeed). It doesn't really have a purpose anymore.

I'm scared to watch this year's edition. Does the Silverfish part have any ultra-shaky, 10 minute GoPro runs where the next rider is a dot somewhere on the horizon and we get frequent closeups of the camera dude's front foot? Or maybe I should ask... how many of those does it have?

The problem is when people spend soooo many hours to get everything done on time, filming, editing...etc and that they end up not being on the DVD they've been working for, without being warned or told anything...
Many people are kind of sad/mad here considering the amount of worked produced for such a video, all that to end up being cut out and replaced by the "Ollie Pop" video or some other crappy video that are just plain boring...

Keep in mind I didnt even participate in doing the rushes or in the editing, but I do videos, I spend some time doing them, and I definitly understand the frustration of some...

We put up video footage from Quebec events and Sessions in and outside of montreal on this board regularly.
We went out of our way to get extra good angles and skate shots over and over in the middle of summers heatwave to film for evolutions, I dont mind it that much, but I feel really bad for Yann who spent many hours behind the computer edititing everything.

How many other segments didnt make it in Evolutions5?
