Back when I was still within my first year of riding, one of the more gloriously terrifying moments was where you couldn't slow down from footbraking, and knew you couldn't run it out, so your fate became tied directly to the board. And at that point you prayed to hell as you crossed the threshold that you'd be able to keep on the board and just get to the bottom in one piece.

yea, that is very uncomfortable. but it does have the benefit of scaring the hell out of people who come in to use the loo. shower curtains make poor duvets, but towels can be okay..so long as they are dry and mostly unused.

Riding at night when you can't see the road (up until recently when I got some bike lights for my trucks), and consequently potholes... especially going downhill. I hate unexpected cracks and holes, not so much on my cruiser or dh boards but definedly on my slide decks.

i hate walking into a store and having a kickflipper saying " i hate abec 11 wheels, how the #### could you spend 50 bucks on a set of wheels" and then having me ask if he has ever rode any of those wheels, he said no, and that he doesnt have to because they have to suck.... because they are soo expensive
