It's usually the mag's and companies that pay to have banners at an event. Not the event manager to pay for banners. So wouldn't it be more reasonable that you would pay to have your banners at an event, than just offer them shipped out for free?
Advertising cost $$ these days.
Although I would probably put up a CW banner for free at any event just because CW rocks compared to any other skate mag out there
I hate signatures, so i turned them off

Races are pretty low key. Usually if you're a race sponsor (donate prize or swag) the promoter will hang your banner somewhere.

I think he's offering them to the little teeny events that most companies wouldn't look twice at or care about. What with concrete wave also being a smallish company, I'm not sure how much they can afford to pay to have advertising at events. At least this way the little guys all get a chance. Yer skaters have cool benners, which they can put up or not put up if they don't like and concrete wave gets some advertising, which has gotta be better than transworld, right?

B&N have mags...but they usually keep them well hidden
if you are in a shop, be sure to do something for the CW underground and move it to the front rack...
if the mag is tough to find, head onto our website and subscribe..
www.concretewavemagazine.com
you'll get mags sent out 1st class and a few other bonuses...including PATCHES...and stickers, dvd's and calendars and a free trip to the Grand Cayman Islands...
note that the Grand Cayman trip will be awarded to our 25,000th subscriber...

I'm trying to time my subscription so that I can win the trip to see the town where you do your banking, Michael. Can you give us a warning when you're at about 24,500 or so?

You know you benners are always welcome at The Ottawa sk8aprk Athletic Club. We'll bring to our race so you don't have to shp us too many.
Anyway if their not done on time to ship them early I expect they'll be hand delivered.
Hmm, Caymans sound good too. Heard they have a little sk8park of their own

i'm assuming having one at the university of RI skate sessions wouldnt do much for ya, not much publicity other than the 10 or so riders.
