He was found by service staff unresponsive with pills next to him.

No indication if he OD'd accidentally or committed suicide.

I never me Skip Englboom so I can't say what kind of actor Ledger was playing the part. I do know his performance was central to the movie.

He'll be the Joker in the new Batman Movie, THE DARK KNIGHT.

Probably won't reprise the role in any sequels.

RIP Skip. No matter what skaters think of the movie, it's still fun to watch. And his appearance in the dark knight as the joker actually makes me want to go see the movie in theaters. It looks great, seems like he made a nice joker, perhaps he got too far into the part?

And a thousand other people in their 20's probably OD'd on drugs today besides this actor. I call b.s. on false sentiment and think all of you should be forced into a lie detector test. Even better if it were broadcast so everyone could you don't really give a #### about Heath Ledger anymore than any other drug user that dies.

Oh wait, there's a game show you could go on and win a million bucks if you tell the real truth.

no, no, no... They DO care more about Heath, that's the problem. Pop-culture icons who do very very VERY little for the well-being of ANYTHING do incredibly selfish things like kill themselves leaving behind 2 year-olds and smehow people weep for them? Like you said, thousands of street kids who never had a real shot in the world will die today, tomorrow, and every day in the forseeable future. Yeah, RIP Heath, you ####### asshole.

damn..... thats a little harsh. sure actors dont really do anything for the general public. but most druggies dont either. i doubt much time will be spent crying for him. i dont think that its that people are sad i think that its more about how shocking it was. because it was so unexpected. he was one of those actors that you knew about but never really was a big star that you hear about constantly or some ####. you never heard anything about him ever having any problems with drugs and that kind of thing. so when he dies it has more of a shocking, what the hell? where did this come from affect. now if lohan died of an od. that wouldnt suprise me. and i would most likely be happy. but for someone who didnt have a history like that. that sucks. and i feel bad for the daughter and the family. but he doesnt deserve the harsh treatment.

Damm shame to die so young. Life is pretty tough at times. And that determines how mentally tough you are. Hitting rock bottom or having a chemical imbalance in your brain could probably make you react. How you react, well that is another question. The people you leave behind are the ones you hurt the most. I love opening my eyes every morning. Grabbing the first cup of coffee, and you dont' have to tell me how good my coffee is. I am the one who buys it. My wife buys ####. I buy the gourmet expensive stufff cause when I drink it, I wanna taste it. Time to go for a ride.

First thing I asked! I'm a big fan of the first movie and now I hope the next is even better. I care very little about celebrities thought because if you give them too much money the do stupid stuff like Britney (who gives a crap what her last name is because it changes all the time) and then they wind up dead. The best thing you can do is say thats a shame and walk away. Anyone who commits suicide is selfesh because they help themselves and hurt everyone else.
