Contrary to the narration, the two parks shown weren't anywhere near San Francisco, but about 400 miles south. The Ed Economy/Doug Schneider/Kevin Anderson footage is from Skatepark Paramount, and the Tay Hunt/Chris Strople/Curt Kimble footage is from Upland...

Chipper "Bro" Bell (Professional Freestyle Frisbee World Champion x13) showed me his great frisbee shots circa 80s! Scott Starr had a way of being at the right place at the right time - all the time. Thank you for the photographs and history.

A couple of years ago, I was searching for old 70's skate stuff and came across surfstyley's videos. Since then, I keep a good watch on his site and keep an ear out for his name. some awesome stuff.
My comments represent a selfishly one sided 1970's skateboarder mindset, and do not reflect the current fashion-skate-lifestyle industry's views.

Scott's been booted off Youtube again. Which is a pain.

Just spoke to Starr, he has a new channel in the works. Keep an eye out for it, but please be discrete. Thanks!

What does he get kicked by YouTube for? Music in the vids?
