    I like the format of this years BG, but I have to admit at the same time I'm a little disappointed...

    I was hoping to look at tons and tons and tons of skate porn, endless images of decks up on decks like in years past.

    skate porn...yeah, I know...row upon row...but it didn't really make sense....not that skate porn needs to make sense...you just, ah, you know, enjoy it and don't really question it...

    what i felt was needed was a way to really make the guide useful...and the best way I figured was to focus on the companies....

    we'll continue this way each year now and keep improving

    mags are mailing..

    Its true eh, dang, they even have 3 new boards this year and
    2 discontinued models return this year.
    If anyone wants to know what new ;
    Highlander 3 (sick new shape)
    NicotinA (potentially the worlds best longboard for girls)
    Birdie (a new lighter sliding shape)

    The Comet-49'' is back!
    and the Maple v-lam BigFish is too!

    Also in recent news Fabrice Gaetan s back on the team, but only as a rider, no comps only freerides.

    from time to time, the 160+ companies i deal with find their way off my radar. They no longer send info, no longer contact me about new products and for some reason, just go down their own road.

    that's cool...however I do want to try and make the guide as comprehensive as possible...we also want to make sure the regular issue is jammed with new products and ideas.

    Motion did contact me after seeing the guide... and I am quite confident they'll be in the 2009 edition

    cheers
