First of all, this is NOT a football post.

BUT,

This is Justin Sorensen:

He's South Carolina's starting offensive tackle. This was him yesterday at the start of Spring Practice.

He is TWENTY TWO YEARS OLD.

No kidding.

Canadian. Born in 1986 at Vancouver, B.C.

This guy is 22!

As soon as he gains a couple of more pounds he'll be ready to slalom! He's certainly already got the haircut.

well yeah , some guys get like that, I bet his coach told him to pack on the kilos ,Not that I will pretend to know anything about American football, but these guys are only trained for short bursts of energy, not really inderance sport athletes, and for the hair well I know some guys who lost there hair in there 20s ,that must suc, so with the beard and all the rest going on , Id say hes right on the money,

depends on the coach
some coaches want their linemen to have endurance and be able to hold guys off
while others want them to just be able to push them to the ground

Ive known a few guys from school who lost their hair by 22 - but its not common.

I knew a guy that was that bald at that age, it happens to some. The guy I knew was in good shape, not aged by any means, just bald. If anything the complex it gave him might have stressed him to the point of aging. Last time I saw the guy he was shaving his whole head, he looked real young that way. I knew another guy that was completely gray by the time he finished college as well, though he had a full head of hair.

O-Line guys may be thick but it doesn't mean they are not in good shape. Often guys like him have some fat around the outside but very little fat around their internal organs. You might be surprised how fast that guy can move and how hard he can hit. When I go to the football weight room on my campus I see guys like power-cleaning big weight in a snap.

unless they work on cardo they might be able to press 100s of plbs but couldnt run around the block,
I saw a small guy kick some muscil bound dudes ass, only because he managed to stay out of the way of the monkey grip, and he had more stamina to keep thrown punches,the big guy just had to give up.

A mate I worked with for yrs used to shave his head since he was 20 , he just liked it that way. Then he met this girl who asked him to grow it back aged 35, when he did he had this big balled spot the size of a hand right on top,

to his suprise, He quickly shaved it again, She married hin anyway

no most colleges wont accept linemen unless they can run at least under a 5.5 second forty
