This sound like a really cool work of art in progress...Would like to see some pics.

Anyway, that's a tree worth tree hugging.

The complaint originated with one guy calling the city and saying they were eye sores on the street. Now the city has to justify bugging the skateshop and saying they're using the trees as snipe signs and so it's unfair to the other businesses around there who are following city code about signs. Maybe the tree huggers will also say the nails will kill the trees The city on appeal will cite the codes and then probably infer if it isn't stopped now, all the trees on the street will fill with broken skateboards.

Though they're not paying it yet, a $500/day fine for the skate shop would be pretty stiff to endure. At this point, it looks like the city would win the appeal, not the skate shop.

Fayetville is home to Ft.Bragg and primarily a blue collar working area. It also has one of the worlds largest indoor skate parks @ 45,000 sq ft.

one of my locals parks in the area has something simlilar to that too. only instead of nailing them to the tree, they throw them up in the tree. it looks really cool/morbid all at the same time. i'll find a picture of it asap
