That doesn't look like fun. Not much you can do other than go down hills. And not very well either.

Simplicity is the name of the game. A skateboard is just a piece of wood on wheels. Things like this are just so difficult to get behind.

Those stilts look like the prosthetic legs they have for runners.

The scarpar looks fun. It also looks expensive and very breakable.

Jumping stilts are ####### hilarious. When that dude races the guy on the bike, but he falls over... oh my god, comedy gold.

Wonder which came first, the chicken or the egg?

This looks sorta fun, but I wouldn't shell cash out for one.

    Hi,

I've actually been working on something very similar for over 10 years now. This one looks like my second prototype (now on 12). I spent so much time and money trying to get it right. This guy puts up a computer generated design and wins some sort of design contest....great.

I was hoping to market mine as soon as I got all the production means ready.

What do you guys think I should do. I have had the patent on this since 2002. And...the version I am working on is extremely nimble and light.

I also have an Earthwing Superglider and a Loaded Dervish. Just because one thing is good doesn't mean the other is bad. I ride all three rollers depending on my mood.

Cool lookin gadget. It'd be fun to hit some dirt hills and such. Although I prefer a mountain bike when it comes to playing in the dirt.

I'd love one of those powered ones for commuting around town.

I checked his site, he's also got working prototypes + vids.

I guess selling your idea to a toy company is an option,
I read the ripstik was invented a korean homeless guy, and was sold to a toy company.

I recently posted an article on flowlab, it was moved to the hybrid section....

So I'm the Korean Homeless guy! LOL

There still is a big difference between what this designer has and mine. His can't really turn, and has air filled tires so it basically only go down hill. Mine is able to pump on flat ground. I do like his design aesthetic. He definitely made it look cool. But if you can't rip on it people won't get into it.

Hopefully I won't end up homeless.
