OK the contest is officially over. I will be putting together the entry package for the judges over the next couple of days. I will post all the names of the judges on Tuesday.

OK, I have put together a list of all the entries for the judges and sent them copies.

The 5th of September deadline is being extended as some of the judges are busy on other, more important things like getting ready for hurricane season or the ASR show. Give the judges a week then I can do the tabulating and announce the winners.


The list of judges are:

Silverfishlongboarding.com, either Malakai, Eric or whoever they would like to appoint.

Concrete Wave Magazine, Michael Brooke

DSBoardsports, Brian Morgan

Matthew Berger, the former managing editor of FineWoodworking.com and now the Web content manager at Fine Woodworking's parent company, The Taunton Press.

Roarockit, Alan Sidlo (I decided it is best if I am not a judge on this one, Alan will be a good Roarockit representative. I lookf forward to his inpute.

The judging took two rounds to pick the winners. There was a tie for the fifth winner between four of the contestants. It took this long, 11 days to get all the information in, to properly pick all five winners.

The Judges were:

Alan Sidlo.....Guru to us all.
Brian Morgan.....My brain frizzles and fries everytime I think about his immense talents.
Michael Brooke.....What can I say! Out there on the edge. Concrete Wave Rocks!

I want to thank each of the judges as I know they really had a tough time picking the winners. Watching all of the video, remembering each of the contestants as you make your pick can be difficult to say the least. You guys did a fantastic job. Thanks!

THE BAD!
There were three contestants that, in part could not be include in this competition. I am extremely sorry but the rules stand. Deadline was August 31st. I will give each of you a 20% discount on your next order of materials from Roarockit.

THE MISTAKE I MADE!
BOON, your text and video were in on time but I overlooked it and did not include you in the HTML I sent all the judges for marking. Big mistake on my part. The contest now has six winners. I get to make one more deck! BOON becomes a tester.

WHAT I NEED FROM THE WINNERS

An email sent to me at ted@roarockit.com that includes your:

- Real name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Where you live with your zip or postal code
- The type of board you are looking for us to build you

I need all of the above and will not use the info for anything but building you a deck.

Expect a phone call from me and probably the person, BOZ or Brian who will be helping to make boards.
You will have to give us a few days to get this organized.

The real job starts now!

I showed the decks off last weekend in Toronto at the annually Board Meeting, Toronto's ride down Younge Street and the response was really positive so I am expecting you will like these decks.
