It looks like this is the school that is across the street from McCoy stadium. It could make for a fun day to hit the skate park then catch a Paw Sox game and drink some beer.

If they spend 550k and end up with another crappy pre-fab park I am going to be very disappointed.

edit - don't bother looking for plans all the google results are people complaining that this is a waste of money.

Pleaes no Pre-Fab! We already have two in Attleboro. One is pretty much unskateable and the other is not far behind. Even the scooter mafia won't hit them up Man, I hope this happens......

according to a NE skatepark builder it may actually still be happening...like maybe as soon as school gets out

Yup Newport is in the same boat....and their Prefabulous park is worse than yours....I don't think I could live anyplace but Westerly now too many good parks within traveling distance

Jamestown is nice but its cramped and short....not to mention we keep the BMXers out

BTW theres a great bowl in Hudson MA, that I frequent during the week sometimes (close to my work). It kind of scares me, but i power through it and I'm getting better

I'm usually there every Sat and Sun morn 9-11, or until the scooter-gangs show up. They don't open the gate on weekdays until school gets out
