but im flying to Pennsylvania on Tuesday and im gonna bring a couple of boards. I want to check my drop speed and carry on my VooDoo XL. the airline im flying on says the over all size of the carry on cant exceed 55inches.they use (length+width+height) as a key. this shouldnt affect me bringing the board on should it?
and im gonna be doing some
DH up there so i wanted to bring my helmet but im not sure how to bring it. carry it on or check it?
Thanks
Wear the helmet, and they'll treat you like something special in the air. J/K! If it fits in a bag, check it in. As far as the 55 inches, I think they may mean 55 cubic inches which is length times width times height, because the last time I flew, the carry-on compartments were not 55 inches in length, they are probably about 35 inches tops, so I would double check that as well. You will most likely need to check it in, and I suggest either some sort of box, skatebag, or if all else fails you could probably use a ski or surfboard bag.
