Hopefully we'll get some this weekend. Everything we got today was slow and kinda crappy. We just did some test stuff to determine angles and such.

OMG that is such a dope setup dude, great ****in job
I skate because there's no Facespace, no Mybook, no Twatter, no eMail, no television, no commercials, no celebrities, no zillion dollar sports teams. No bulls--t whatsoever... It's just me, the pavement, one deck, two trucks, four bushings, four wheels, eight bearings, and some mounting hardware. My very own little race car, my own flight simulator, and it feels f--king great.

    Thats some creative rigging.

However, have you considered the injury potential to your back if you were to slam and the far end of the rod where the camera is were impacted, and created a lever effect on the area where the wood is, making it dig into your spine? It would be a lot more safer if you built a collapsable joint into the rigging, the farthest away from the camera you can get it.Unless its already got that

It would bend before breaking my spine. All it is is a leg and the center piece from a tripod that I broke previously. Not extremely strong.

Sweet man, hopefully it bends that easy if that ever does happen. Looking forward to some of the footage from it. How much does a tripod like that cost, thatd be sweet to make something like that.

Taping the clip down a bit help get rid of some of the "rattle" vibration. Still lots of Hum though.

the shots under the board were done with the flat sticky mount it was almost impossible to get off but didn't damage the finish at all

The cross step part was dope...good angle that one.
The one on the back was good as well, with the metal arm attached to the board!

Here's a step by step instruction on how I made my scorpion mount. I was too lazy to take apart some of it so a lot of the instructions are squished into 1 pic. Sorry if it gets confusing.
The goal of this design was to make a rig that is as light as possible and also to make it so the monopod can be easily removed.

not on that board, i built it the right length to work on all of my boards. it will hit on a low board that has a lot of deck lean.
