I've got some constructive criticism. I myself have been kinda working on throwing together a sponsor me video and here's what I'm thinking. This is all in my opinion of course.

1) I liked the intro a lot, but I think it dragged on a little bit too long (it was like 25% of the whole movie if you think about it.) Shorten it down and it'll be sweet.
2) GoPro shots in general are not too flattering of yourself. I mean, you can't really see yourself skating. I think some GoPro shots would be cool, but for the most part try to stick to your buddy filming you (easier said than done right?).

I hope that helps. I really liked the old school vibe and the text was a nice font.

Rad skating for sure, you're a shredder dude.

however, the one common misconception is that companies sponsor riders solely on skill. Show the company that you can help the company grow and prosper, and it's infinitely more important than shredding really hard, and not really doing much for the company.

I am aware that there are some examples where a rider's skill will make kids buy the ####, but for the most part, this isn't true. It's the other stuff that you do that makes a good sponosored rider.

Ya i totally understand what both of you are saying. Mos tof the time im the kid taking the video and this really does no justice to my skill. I'm already sponsored by a neighbouring town skateshop, but i was asked to do this for my work, as they said they can help me out with sponsors for the Canadian Race season.

cool vids, i know nothing about sponser vids so maybe my thoughts will help maybe they wont, the speeding up slowing down thing in the first vid kinda bugged me like i could tell when it was actual speed but it seemed like its just not necessary, why not just lengthen the vid and let us watch it all in real time?

Ya man i agree that a sponsor wants more then a shredder. Me personally am not the greatest skater, however the fact i host events and different clinics to try and spread the stoke landed me the sponsorship i wanted so try to take that approach as well while trying to get sponsored. You dont need to be the big man of the community , you just need to show you are introducing longboarding to new people and helping grow the community while repping their company. Also maybe try your school. I am current im the midst of trying to get ASU to sponsor my race season in Canada =)

The only part spead up are the enes were im pushing a #### load and when im passing the one guy. Thats it.

I agree with animal.. once some shots have their speed altered, it makes me think.. "Is this sped up?" for the rest of the video. Really detracts from dh vids. IMO real time is better, and if the shot is too long, cut it.
