Default Go Pro vs V holder vs V.I.O???

I know pretty much everyone is using the Go Pro HD. Anyone have experience with the V Holder Contour or the V.I.O. P.O.V 1.5.
All three are sold at REI
Have noticed video with Go Pro not that great in low light or when filming facing the sun. Does the Go Pro let you manually adjust exposure for lighting conditions?
The contour is Low profile and less likely to break in a crash it would seem.
Anyone out there have experience with cameras other than the GoPro that can share some info on them?

I've got the first SD GoPro.. the the SD wide and now a 2 of the HD GoPro's.. Ive ysed the POV 1.5.. its only NTSC (720x480), bad quality video and difficult to use. the VholdR is only 1/2 HD (1280x720). The HD GoPro works well shooting directly towards the sun compared to the SD GoPro's "black spot" sun.

none of these cams are very good in low light nor do they feature any exposure control.. that and auto white balance can make for some shítty footage.. its just chance

One thing.. the GoPros come with/in a hard polycarb waterproof case that will protect the cam far better than the exposed housings of the other cams.. plus the first thing youll probably fúck up is the lens cover.. and its a separate replacable peice from the housing.

And finally.. look at the diff cams sample footage on theyre web sites and here for example.. you'll find that you wont find much from the other cams because its simply inferior

i picked up the HD gopro two days ago, and so far I love it. Doesn't shoot very well in low-light. VERY light, hard to figure out at first, but the quality is amazing. Here is a sample clip of the 720p at 30fps:
i also find that playback is laggy unless you have a ninja-fast computer. I tried playback on the latest macbook pro and its perfect. I tried playback on a 1.99 ram dual core laptop, and it is a little jerky. I tried it on a 1 ram 1.3 Ghz laptop and it doesn't play. Thought I'd throw that out there.
