    Default Gravity SPEEDBOARD!

I just made a Gravity Hypercarve Speedboard. I read in someone's post about changing a minicarve into something else... so I decided I should put my gravity hypercarve to some use and modify it a bit!

It started out as a piece-of-**** jumble of tender wood. I chopped off the tail, planner'd it down, sanded it smooth, drilled holes, cut the drop-through cut outs, cut wheel wells where they were needed, gripped, mounted, and now I am posting here.

I de-wedged both trucks. Rear= 40* front= 45*. Since it is dropped, with flipped hangers, and de-wedged, plus rockered slightly, it should be pretty stable going downhill. I still have yet to test it.

Well for all you "nay-sayers" who think it will only go 30 or so stable, I just hit 45 even with complete control. After putting avilas on it, it goes even faster. I practiced some tight hairpins around 30, and it suction cupped itself to the concrete and glided through the turns without sliding out or losing any speed. I love it.

It is more stable then the fiberflex 38" pintail that I had been hitting at 50 mph on, and has more control and plenty more grip then my DH Race. All I can say is I love this board, and anyone else who has an old gravity hypercarve, randall II 180 trucks and 72a avilas with biltin bearings sitting around, I suggest making this modification.

I've been tinkering with the idea of dropping through one of my old mini's and after seeing this I'm sold!
