this is my fourth pair of slide gloves, and i think i have finally perfected the craft.
Specs:
-Fancy Home Repo gloves with velcro wrist straps and palm padding
-Acrylic sheeting circular main puck 100mm and parallellogram shaped finger pieces made out of flattened PVC pipe. All pucks velcroed on
through trial and error, i have found that acrylic has the proper wear to weight ratio to be the main puck, but because it cracks easily and the fingers dont recieve as much wear as the hands it is not suited for fingers. 100mm is the perfect size for my palm, and palms are not square, so why should the puck be square? PVC pucks are on the fingers because they are lighter than acrylic and do not chip or crack like acrylic does, and are easy to cut into small finger shapes. So far, these gloves are perfect for everything, very lightweight and comfortable.
