A COUPLA BOARDS WE PUT TOGETHER YESTERDAY

Yea, I know I don't need any more boards, but when your boards are a tax deduction why not have plenty.

We got a hold of the Hosoi deck yesterday and set to it straight away with aa drill and put mounting holes out on the tip of the nose and tail, then we stole the Indy 215's off the Lil Gaffa and installed them along with a set of Force wheels. I think this will be a great sliding setup.

Since we had stolen the trucks off the Lil Gaffa we decided to take the Holeys off one of the Force decks and install them instead. As you can see this is loaded with a set of Pink Powerballs and it is now an absolute carving machine. It is awesome and will be staying in this format for the foreseeable future. It is soooo much fun now. This board should be shipped with these trucks and wheels.

OUCH! WHY did you do that to the hammerhead? No matter if it's tax deduction or whatever, IT AIN'T RIGHT!! Mount the trucks in the right places, and it STILL will be a nice sliding/ all around setup. Well, to each his own, but that picture makes me sad.

I've got a good Hosoi hanging off the ceiling at the shop and have been planning this board for a while, but my supplier hasn't had one in stock so they ordered it in for me. It is quite flexy now which isn't bad with my weight but some of my heavier mates can nearly bottom it out.

I hope to take it out for a session later in the week, I'll keep you posted.

If you have the trucks in the right position, then you can slide and have a killer pool setup.

those pocket pistol wedges are my favorite, if that's what they are. the 215's w/ that HOSOI are ideal for a wide shlong board. DEWEDGE the risers to lessen the corkiness a bit. dress it up w/ some DH wheels & visit the hills if you haven't already. schlong has always been on!!

That was a controversial decision that you made when you decided to make that hosoi into a schlong... Although it looks like it would be a great schlong to slide on and whatnot.

you are either very brave or very well trained 'cos Clayski is an unarmed combat instructor for the Australian Army and has about 6 years of training with the Gherkas (sp?) and his Mum is sacred. Guess the fact he hasn't responded here is because he is tracking you down as I type.

I'm pleased to see that I managed to get some reaction with this board. I'm afraid I don't care what name is on a deck it is a piece of wood to be thrashed on bitumen or concrete, not some sacred relic of an ancient god. The original holes are still in the deck and if I don't like it the way it is I can go back to original, no sweat. As soon as I can get a chance to get it out to a hill I'll give it a go and let you all know how it rides.
