    Default board pOrN

Alright here is my beloved Trylam. I just got some metal seismics to put on it. She did well on randal 150s, but gotta try new things.

    S9 Trylam
Seismic 155 yellow front red rear
    Strykers 77mm 81a
    Pleasure Tool 7s
    1/8th shock pad

So far no wheel bite in the kitchen and it is SNOWING so don't ask how it rides............yet. All parts are 2nd hand Silverfishers except bearings and shock pads.

Just wanting to show off, I am excited!

Chris...Thanks, the holeys are coming after Christmas funds arrive.

Thefuzz...I don't like riding in the rain anyway it is 2 inches of wet snow.

GPymp...The carpet is in an apartment and it isn't very nice and I don't care.

Nice. I lreally like my trilam too. Are the Seismics higher than r180s? I ask cause I have r180s on mine and couldnt get 76mm gummies to not bite.
Did you cover that nose as a precaution or have you had some unfortunate accident? What do you have covering it?

Yes actually, the darker board didn't have any protection before.

There was an accident...hence the recent mini board craze

The seismics seem to be the same height. I run a 1/8 shock pad under them. Also I was running R150s now 155s. I only weigh 150, so that might be why I can run bigger wheels. When I got the beoard it had a bit of delam. I gorilla glued the hose on the front after fixing the delam to prevent it from happening again, I hope.

It kills garages and speed carves like no other. A bit on the stiff side for most riders however I like it. Concave is locked in and it is fairly lightweight. With randal 150s it does real well to 30mph maybe more. One of my favorite boards for sure.

    beano,
I have never ridden that board, but I am guessing you are going to need some bigger risers or smaller wheels. I rode my 180 seismics on a insect big bug with those strykers and it bit like a bastard when riding even though I couldn't get them to bite no matter how hard I tried in my room without it moving with 3 * 1/8th risers(check out that run on). Just wanted to give you a heads up. If i bought a s9, that would definately be the one.

I had it set up with 150 randals and it NEVER bit. The seismics are basically the same height and when I get the board on 2 wheels in the kitchen it is cool. Also I think your insect has more of a rounded nose. WhenI had my city bomber it had to be jacked up because of the bite.

    Thanks for looking out though.

Good to know the seismics found a good home on that board!!!!!!!!!!
    They're lookin' sexy as always.
