hmmm... that's not been my experience. lemon retros have been more durable than my otangs, my my purple otangs are definitely more durable than lime retros. i don't think that otangs wear that quickly. also, maybe just the way you slide causes your wheels to wear more. having more refined technique puts more even, consistent wear on your wheels and will help them to last longer.

it's not my technique
I've gotten the deathswirl with purple and yellow otang thane
and my lime freerides are definitely more durable than otang thane

not to say that they aren't fun wheels.
kjc is not hyping, these wheels are not just harder... they're of a completely different thane than the regular 4prez. I didn't get a chance to really try to rail corners with them to test grip, but the slide is delicious, and the thane is invincible.

if they wear slower than the 86a freerides, I'll consider buying them

yup the landy is a winner on 1/4 risers and those are red raceforms josh has on his nem
he swears by them
rips on them and slides very quietly
