I have been able to put in the Youtube video once, but for the life of me, I haven't been able to get it a second time. I actually think that this is one of those "senior moments."
But you need to know that I am exceedingly proud of how hard I have worked at learning how to slide. Riding the board came back quickly, dealing with speed and fear of falling is pretty much a given with my real passion, skiing/alpine ski racing.
The laughing in the background is my wife, I suggested that she come on out and check out how my longboardng had come along, I think she was pretty impressed! And not because there was a chance that I might bust my neck, and she would collect my retirement and insurance payoff! She said, "you look so pleased with yourself!"
Matter of fact, I am! I love turning, running down the hill, and slamming the board into a screeching slide, it just cracks me up!

They grip pretty much how you'd expect an 85a In Heat or 4Prez to grip. The drift sounds and feels more like a Durian/Stimulus but with a slightly more defined hookup, due to the shape of the lips.
Those shots are SICK man! HDR photography can be pretty damn cool, and I appreciate that you did it right. Can't stand it when people go overboard with Topaz Adjust on single exposures.. seen those ridiculous Maryhill photos? I assume you're using a remote shutter release to prevent movement, huh?
Also, you know mitch s at UCLA right? I think I met you on the street for like 2min when I was up there for EDC. You shred man!
Now, here's another vid by budds51 - BLACKS two
warning: some long shots have sped up portions bla

Thanks man, glad you enjoyed the shots. Adam does all the editing, and only the three shots of me that I posted were HDR. But yeah, we used a tripod + remote for any HDRs or sequences.
Yeah I know Mitch, haha do you know each other from SD or something? BTW, dig the Blacks video. I've wanted to skate that hill for ages, but I suppose Malibu has satiated my appetite quite nicely. One of these days I'll see some spots down there!
