thanks guys... yeah, that basket weave was done a long time ago, just ran accross the picture so i thought i'd post it up. it's on an eight wheeler and it really makes the board seem lighter via visuals alone. this design can be done on smaller decks but it's just a matter of sizing it to proportion otherwise it would lose a lot in translation.

i'm totally lovin' the dragon grip too. it's true that we are our own worst critics because those imperfect edges that seem to haunt redundor doesn't bother me in the least.

As usual, Shapeshifter taking the organic route to re-produce beauty, with function!
We discussed the virtues of grip involving voids a few years back on ncdsa, and Shapeshifter's use of that on the 8 wheeler is a perfect example. Grand job my bro!

Well, heres my first grip job with my current board. A couple friends helped to make the process quick for the simple design, but im pretty proud of it nonetheless. My next board's grip will be a little more involved though. Especially if its a mini. lol

First one I've ever done. It's on top of my Demonseed.
Painted a part of the board white, and while it dried I cut out the
words from the griptape. The hardest part was getting the small pieces
of grip tape inside the letters in right shape and place. Overall I'm
very pleased with the turnout. Got a few more ideas for a few more
boards

sorry for the slow response... as for cutting it, i used an exacto knife, small cuts, and lots of patience
