Sick construction style. My streets are swept and ready to rip.

Pics? (I'm at work and they may be blocked if you already posted tehm) and how much would one of these puppies run?

welcome back stokes... are you using the reactive or the proactive material? do you do your own pours or is it machined from stock? feel free to let me know if you want to keep the information proprietary. i haven't planned on going that route but i might give reactive a try.

Thanks for the props on the board guys. I appreciate it. Not really sure how this thread magicly moved to the Videos & Photos section? Weird... Any body know how it was moved?

    To answer some Q's:

Edison- Pics should work... I looking to retail this particular board for $350.00CAD. Slalom decks and decks that don't require as much carbon should be in the $290.00CAD range.

Shapeshifter- Reactive or Proactive? Not sure to tell you the truth!! But I can tell you that I do all my castings in house, and have the abillity to pressure cast.

Confusious- I used the Biax E instead of S for multiple reasons. The first being that finding a 12oz. biax S would be very difficult and costly (most likely would have to buy a roll around here). Also, its primary purpose is for tonsional stiffness... and E does the job just fine... I suppose thought a 12oz. E could be subbed with a 10oz. S... but the weight savings vs. cost would be just too much.

Thumbs up Re: "Stokes" New Hybrid foam/carbon/wood Construction Speedboard w/pics.

That looks great, Stokes!! I bet the entrants in the Board Building contest (it's "top mount speedboards" this month) are glad you didn't find the contest but would be stoked to hear and read more about what you're doing.

As for you thread moving, a Moderator must have done that, since you posted it to General instead of here or in "Board Building" (that's where I'd have moved it to if it were me).
