Yeah, crate sliding has been done many times...Brad Edwards does it in Flow and I have actually seen someone try it in a street skating video.

the editing of that video cracked me up -- i thought you were preparing to land on a squirrel; i've never seen that done before.

cs2, i have video somewhere of you crate-ing down mason's slide hill --- back in the day.

Yea i have seen ppl use a crate as a substitute for sliding gloves, but has anyone actually jumped on the crate while moving?

yeah. a lower but wider crate (think coke and pepsi) works much better. the whole wilmington crew did that when we started. the real fun thing is to start the slide heelside and then ditch the board and sit your ass down in the crate and slide down the hill.

that sh1t where you jumped on the crate was funny as hell. We used to put like 4 boards under a mattress and bomb a hill with like nine dudes on it. It is funny looking back on how much more fun I had doing dumb sh1t when I was a younger lad. I miss ignorance, stupidity, and irresponsibility. I'm gonna go build a massive ramp and put it at the end of a dock.... Then Im gonna steal somebodies bike

My brother has done a stall on to the crate and slid while stalling on it. He fell and got scraped up a bit because after a few feet it shout out. I'll try to get him to do it again. I'll get pics next time.
