    Default new run i found

just rode this the other day, its probably 20-25 mph, but that last turn still drifts at that speed, and it didnt help that there was dirt on it when i took it, anyway, just totaly stoked on this hill. its just a walking trail that i didnt know existed till a couple days ago... its a blind corner at the end there too, so you need two lookouts to make sure its all clear, but tons of fun and cant wait to go back with some brooms so i can make that last corner without my board sliding real inconsistantly on that dirt.

anyway, cool lookin run, i thought you all might enjoy the pics of it.

awesome! I wish I had something like that around me soo bad. If the ground is okay you should try to slide it. Sliding around corners doing blindsides and other tricks is always fun to do.

it goes down accross that bridge you can see in the distance, though its a sharp right corner onto the bridge and with the dirt on there i have yet to make that corner. it seems to be about 1/4 mile total i think. once i get a broom out there i'll make the corner

That looks sooooo nice! Lately (just moved 4 miles from my old house but now Im more near the hills) I have been finding longer runs and they are way more fun... In my old hood there were awesome steep hills good for anywhere from 15-50MPH but they are just quick bursts of speed... I found one sweet run more then 1.5 miles long but it doesnt have any killer corners like that!

That is like a short section of maryhill almost!

Also loving the area around it, the river in the first pic looks sweeetttt!

yeah, my favorite is realy tight turns that makes 15-20 feel fast, either that or a smooth 25-30 mph carver. i can do those types of runs all day

I think you'll find a lot more paved walking trails these days than in the past. The ADAAG (Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines) has prompted many public park lands to be made accesible for wheelchair bound people and that usually means they pave it. They recently paved an old walking trail here along the beach in my town for the same reason.

that big turn at the bottom is the fastest point, and is a totaly laid out turn, especialy with the dirt currently on the path

thanks for the advice, mc99david, but Ive also lived here in my FLAT town my whole life, and searched EVERYWHERE, and even used google earth, we have literally nothing, a parking garage at best, but we get busted a lot, we still have a lot fun skating everywhere in our city though, we make the best of it, and besides were only 1.5 hours away from the bay area.

how do you see elevation/road surface on google earth? I mean to see if it's paved or dirt or gravel? Can you? Only thing around here long enough to really ride is an old railroad track turned bike bath.
