After the race in central park there was a big ramp session, party, and barbecue at Ned's house in Queens.
A lot of skaters were super tired after sprinting 6.02 miles in the heat and humidity.
But that didn't stop some folks from having a bitchin' slide session on the little hill on Ned's street.
Mike D and Anton.
"Are you calling me a hippy?"
Board pr0n.
Brian and Adam not-Colton duke it out on the slack line, Mortal Kombat style. The skate paparazzi takes note.
There was meat. And beer.
And skinned knees.
Jessica's band Blood Red Sun (http://myspace.com/bloodredsun) played live on the ramp.
There was a lot more ridiculousness going down, but I was too cracked out on caffeine, no sleep, and tons of skating to get it on film. Hopefully Ned and the other photogs got shots of the ice cream truck that showed up (special thanks to Cliff Coleman for buying me a cone and inventing downhill sliding), the downhill session on the hill, the absolutely ridiculous ramp session that happened while the band played, and the slack line antics.
