i love the drifting sequence mike did, he told me about that spot, aperantly its not so good as the surface is a bit nasty and you have to stop quick cause it comes out onto a main road

yes i did take them all.

the last one is using a stroboscopic flash (actually two of them) - it's a flash that goes off several times a second. it's a bit of a gimmick really but it works alright for stuff like this. all i did was stick it on a long exposure, pan a little bit to blur the background (but not too much otherwise all the "matt's" would have been on top of each other) and fired the flashes off manually as he went by with the shutter open. making sure he was wearing a super bright tshirt meant that there would be a crazy blur going on in between all the flashes, and we shot it just after the sun had gone down so that there was a bit of light left but not too much. matt did the rest, i think his contribution to the picture is rather more impressive than me pushing a few buttons.
