    Default Re-Gripped Vanguard

Yes I took that one guy's idea. I regripped it so I can ride it in the bowls.

But check it out. I'm pretty proud of myself.

If anybody wants these extra stars let me know.

That's wicked man. I like the little crowns at either end. If that were my board, I would get a bunch of different colors of grip tape and cut them into polka dots or stars. Bring some color onto the board!

    Great job!

off topic I know but..... how do you like the way the grippins preform on the vanguard?
I've been considering a set for mine, BigZigZags are on the way so I'll have to wait and see how I'm going to like them first before I'll pick up a set of grippins but I just figured I'd ask anyway for future reference.

Yeah I know. That's where I got my idea from... I'm not afraid to admit that it isn't an original idea.

Thanks for the tip. I went today. Soooooo sick. But it's a little hard to pump and maintain speed. I'll get used to it though.

Edit: also it's pretty damn hard to drop in. I tried it the way you do it (if it isn't you it's the other guy that can skate pools with a Vanguard) and I fell pretty hard. I just go to the roll-in.

If someone copied my style I would take it as a compliment. ESPECIALLY if my style was unique cause that makes you a pioneer. Great grip job. I really like it with the abundant stars and the crowns.

Yeah, stars and griptape are one way to do it. But! It's also really easy to redo the clear grip (even make it grippier) by yourself!

Check out my vanguard after I sanded it and regripped it with polyurethane and tread-tex:
