HA!! That was the first sorta 'skateboarding movie' I saw back in the day. We all had to go out & try to copy all the skate moves seen in it. Man I was such a skate dork....wait a minute I still am

ahhh! i was watching that movie on tv one night really late. my favorite part is when everyone is fighting on their boards during the race at the end. that or when they are dancing in the clubs with their boards... what is the name of this again?
Ha, ha, I finally watched it. It's funny as hell, then the final race, omg, prepare to laugh your asss off, but also a bit suprised at some decent skating.
I think that was the second movie that tried to get a sk8r type vibe . The first was a movie with 70s teen Idol Leif garrettand also starred Tony Alva who also appeared in this movie also. though Ive neverseen thrashin it s funny to see that clip
Everyone who skates should watch it, I was entertained for sure, I may even buy a copy. Also, I am pretty sure the band in one of those scenes was the Red Hot Chili Peppers as young kids. The last DH scene looks so dumb, until the main characters break away into a heads up race, then it gets kinda badasss, I was suprised at the skills actually.
The best part is that the god guy in the movie (actor Josh Brolin) is the main character Lewellyn in the movie No Country For Old Men. I guess you could say he's matured
