Default My Logan SDP! vs LDP

I wanted to make a fun little board for pumping so I got myself a Gravity Bruce Logan 30". I started out with my stock choice of Bennett 4.3 front and back wedged. This beast was fun but actually overturned as I had anticipated.

Level 2: I then took two 3/16"" risers stacked and replaced the wedged rear riser. Better but still too turny.

Level 3: After hanging out with Buddy Carr @ Tracker I decided to get a Tracker RT-S 129mm for the back. This was also a tip from Galac here on the Fish. Now we are talking. Currently my board sits as you see it in the photos. I still think it is too turny in the rear and I think I will dewedge it. At times it feels like an old American muscle car with too much horsepower and and can still overpower the tail.

Hope you enjoyed the pics and story. This is my favorite ride for taking breaks @ Gravity.

Here is a deck I had signed from Bruce Logan for my wall hanger-

    Enjoy!

    Thanks Rasta,

I forgot to add, I have the orange Alligator 62mm. These wheels are soooo nice!! Can't wait to do a little retro carve at the park. It's going to be like watching the old guy drive his model T Ford down the main street parade.

It would be fun to take Bruce to the parks and stoke out the kids. Bruce has been getting better and staying sober and we are stoked for him. The guy works out almost daily and can still skate. Inspiration to all.

The duro on the 'gators are 79a. Grippy yet a controlled slide and fast.

This board is super fun to ride! I'm lucky enough to have ridden this board, and everything about it makes it a great pumper. So easy to pump and pick up speed efficiently, the wheels are super fast and grippy (Yet can break loose if you try), and the deck is perfect length for a nice comfortable stance.

What's up Agent! I took the Logan down my hill and worked it about 1/8 mile away waiting for my wife to catch up with me to go out for dinner. I was talking to her on my cell ph and as I carved a ultra slow turn I hit one of those tree acorn things and ate #### at about 3 mph. Dang! 2nd fall of the day- Elbow, knee and ankle in one shot. My wife was laughing at me as she pulled up. Good times.....

love the classic shapes of the gravitys---

yeah, dewedge that rear if you haven't already, you'll dig it.

completely relate to the acorn story-- it was a pine cone that took me out a few years ago!

I think the dewedging will be accomplished today during lunch.

Seems like trees have it in for us.... Hmmm, think it is payback for all the maple we have used?
