    Default Skeleton luge helmet

These seem like they would be great for what we do. They seem to be mad for head on collisions at 70 mph so why can't they be safe for us?

    HELMETS

Someone should pick one up and let us know about them.

Looks like it is rated for skydiving as well.

They look like they could work but I don't think anyone is going to drop $300 on one just to see if it would work.

problem is i don't need a new helmet and I am happy with my charly as of right now. Maybe some time in the future.

The site will custom paint it and give u a range of different tints.

The styling looks a little funky, but I am sure they would work well.

    Thanks for the link.

i remember seeing it in a magazine. If you search skeleton luge helmet on google you will find it.

    I guess it is skeleton/skydiving.

Either way it could be safer than icaro and charly because lugers use it.

THESE HELMETS SUCK. They're not safe, nor do they even cover your whole head. They have a strange bag system that has half your head in the shell, and half of your head in this weird bag thing. Again, they suck.

I agree. I saw some fella at Danger Bay and Paskapoo who had that helmet. Those helmets provide little to nothing in terms of protection of the back of your head.

they're not particularly strong, nor do they have particularly deep foam.
that's an inevitable trade off for being light and aerodynamic.

That said, people survive crashing in them regularly, they're certainly good enough for the kind of damage you're likely to take by yourself.

However for freeriding, or to put it bluntly - for head Vs car, I'd be going for a motorcross.
The earth shall inherit the meek.

I know they are sketchy as hell, the guys riding xss sled skeleton lamehickys had a few and they did not look safe, no protection whatsoever on the back of the head. ALso, you say there were made for head on collisions at 70mph, your a dumbass. Helmets only do so much, and at 70 mph it doesnt matter dot, paraglider, Walt nestle, ETC. Your body is done, you hit a solid object, things are going to break that cant be fixed, might as well not wear a helmet... .
