He was probably referring to using a Randal 42* plate, thus making Prandals.

Just set these up and I'm even considering a Ben Dub. Oh God I have a problem.

The Wolfy is extremely comfortable for getting sideways fast but the Vandal is one of my favorite topmounts ever. It's especially sick in my tuck. The flares and everything line up with my stance beautifully. I really need to put some Wolfy-esque rails in the back to mellow out that concave. And the Ben Dub is just too sick. Incredible pockets and just so wrong.

my rockin rookie is 29.25" from axle to axle on my gunmetals. I thought about bringing in the rear truck to get a little more flatkick to make it easier to go off curbs and (kind of) ollie it, but I think I'm gonna keep it where it is.

ive got my rookie on the 30" and its on tkps so its probably more like 31". real fun to standie over manholes and stuff.

I tried that once on my lambchop, but it was over a smaller manhole (closer to 2' wide). Full sized manholes are sketchy, wheels don't like to be predictable on them.

i get so much leverage and turniness on my pocket ace that i cant imagine ever wanting a shorter wheelbase. i actually redrilled it to get a 30" wb. feels so stable.

anyway to each his own. but i give you guys mad props for hauling ass on a 24" wb.

thats why a ginormous wheelbase is so fun. just get real sideways and put it in between your wheels.

One-off proto DB Stalker. 10 plies of colored maple veneers with woven bamboo on the bottom. Nose is ever so slightly narrower than the production model. Set up on 42* Calibers wedged to 45* or so with 78a Classic thane Zigs. 72mm 78a Cannibals for DH. 26.5" wheelbase.
