Yesterday I was on the beach doing some surfing and watching kiteboarders. I came to the conclusion that board sports have a style like nothing else. You compare bicycling or skiing with snowboarding, surfing, or longboarding and it is clear why we take the board sports. It's about personal style, steez, and the beauty of the sport.

wow that's pretty lame: that combines the inneficiency of skating with the lack of fun of biking at 15-20 mph.

Iceman: I used to bike a lot and still do ski alot so I resent that statement. Biking does lack style to a point when just riding around but watch some big mountain freeride or dirtjumps and theres plenty of style out there. Even more so with skiing- watch some real skiing not 95 percent of people out there skiing.

I definitely agree with Pat S. on this one. I don't think that most people realized that its "so wrong when shortboarders or other people make fun of us for longboarding", but its ok for us to hate on other forms of biking/skating. Pretty ignorant if you ask me.

honestly I think the kickbikes are pretty cool but those treadmill things are retarded and a waste of energy you could be having fun instead
