Default My Custom Painted Jr Dancer

My Roggs Jr. Dancer came in this week, and it was well worth waiting for it to travel to my home from the other side of the continent. I had specially requested the bottom to be left in a black base. A friend of mine is an exceptional airbrush artist, and I enlisted his services as well to help me create something special. I couldn't have asked for things to go better than they did. The board itself more than met my expectations, as did the artwork that was painted onto it today.

I set 'er up with some Holeys and 81a Grippins, and she rides every bit as good as she looks. I'm honored to have had two great artists work on this board for me, and I cannot thank Mayhem151 and Loki440 enough for helping me create my own personal piece of stoke.

    I attached pictures of:
    1) The completed sketch before the board was painted.
    2) The base art before the candy was applied.
    3) A closeup of the base art
4&5) 2 full shots of the finished product

Wanted to add a shot of the board set up and a view of the top, so I snapped a couple more quick shots.

That board turned beautiful man! Did you redo the topsheet as well? If you did what method did you use?

The top was done by Loki440 when he built the board. The stripes and logo are stained and the rest is painted, but I don't know much beyond that (I think it involves tape). If you're referring to the grip, I think it is Turf Tex that is put into the top of the board during the finishing process. I only have a vague understanding of that method, but I believe it is discussed over in the board building forum.

I tried less riser first, but this is what ended up working for me.

I'm sure he could paint whatever you want. Send him a PM and ask him about it.

That is an amazing paint job. I've been wanting a Jr. dancer for a while.
