    I took a bad fall on 5/24/2008 at Mt. Baker, went off the road and fell down the side of the mountain. I went into a coma, badly broke my pelvis, lacerated my liver and almost died on the mountain AND later in the hospital. The rehabilitation therapists had to teach me how to do everything again...everything.

    I survived that mountain because of my helmet...WEAR ONE and send your family to the hospital, not the morgue.

    Oh god no...this crash I stood back up and finished the race. That crash (that "worked me over") isn't on film. If it were I would not be putting it online.

    This crash was MCGF 2007. The crash that really hurt me was May 24, 2008 on Mt. Baker in Washington state.
