labor day weekend slide seshy

last friday of summer. solo slide session. special thanks to the curb, the light pole and the front tire of a mercedes for the camerawork.

it was a great way to cap off the summer.....................

thanks guys! i don't know what was going on that day, but there were a ton of tourists around. i met kids from CORNWALL, UK who are just learning to skate who already knew about sliding! Oddly, they had not yet heard of Faltown or Mark Short or any of the Cornwall crew, but obviously had seen them as they were savvy about slide glove brands. 3 different photographers passing by took shots and took my email. i hope i get the pics, but no one ever sends them. one french woman had me pose for a photo with her son and his razor scooter. random.
