Yeah you are completely right. It's a brilliantly shot and edited film with great variations of shots and a comparatively large amount of originality considering the saturation of the genre.

Budding film student. That was awesome. The skating was on par. Not exceptional, but solid skills. The forethought on the shots was a lot more complicated than any move that was made on a deck in that video. Kudos. I am sending this to Adam C. for the next Loaded Newsletter.

i love steve's videos too. because of the camera set-up he uses (basic camera + 35mm lens adapter + SLR lens) he can achieve heaps of depth. but it makes action filming more difficult to pull off, so he really does a great job. his editing skills are great too. his match framing and storytelling juxtaposing shots is brilliant. there isn't enough of this among the longboarding community. great colour saturation too. he is obviously good at picking the right locations and lighting situations to achieve bright and consistent colour.
